New Delhi, Nov. 16 -- Amid the sweeping victory of the Nitish Kumar-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Tejashwi Prasad Yadav has managed to secure the bare minimum MLAs to retain the Leader of the Opposition post in the Bihar assembly. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), led by the Mahagathbandhan's CM face Tejashwi, managed to secure just 25 seats in the 243-member Bihar assembly. The Opposition bloc bagged a total of 35 seats. Former Lok Sabha secretary general PDT Achary told HT, "Many years ago, a Lok Sabha Speaker had ruled that the party which has to be recognised with the LoP status, must have at least 10% of the total strength of the House."
