Chandigarh, Sept. 12 -- Under the aegis of the founders and directors Earnest Charles J Samuel and Annie Charles Samuel, alongwith the principal Parveena John Singh, Mount Carmel School, celebrated Teacher's Day, honouring the dedicated educators who shape young minds. On September 4, a series of creative class-wise activities were held under the guidance of class teachers. Students expressed their affection through greeting cards, handmade gifts, bookmarks, photo frames, flower bouquets, and photo albums. Senior classes added depth with slogan writing, poetry, selfie photo frames, and display board decorations. Each activity became a tribute, allowing students to showcase their creativity and gratitude towards their mentors. The school cabinet organised a cultural programme dedicated to the teachers. The event included dances, a thought-provoking street play, fun games, and soulful poetry, all of which were warmly appreciated by the teachers, who were touched by the love and respect of their students. On September 5, the celebrations continued with a special lunch at the Country Inn by Radisson. The theme, "Hues of Nature," was reflected in the colourful decor and attire.
