India, June 8 -- Taylor Swift's long battle to reclaim her music has struck a powerful chord with fans worldwide - and Indian Swifties are responding with pure celebration. Now that she owns the master recordings of her first six albums, fan collectives across India are throwing themed events that double up as mini-concerts and nostalgic deep dives into her early career. From Delhi to Mumbai, cafes and bars are turning into Swiftie sanctuaries, filled with friendship bracelet exchanges, quiz-offs, karaoke sessions, OG music video screenings, and a whole lot of glitter.
