Chandigarh, Feb. 7 -- As part of the Swachh Survekshan 2026, the municipal corporation organised a cleanliness and environmental awareness campaign at the Government Model Schools in pocket numbers 6 and 10 of Manimajra. MC officials sensitised teachers and students to the segregation of four types of waste. They emphasised the importance of proper waste management at the source. They also created awareness about the harmful effects of single-use plastic and urged students to avoid its usage completely. People were urged to report instances of littering by clicking photographs along with location details and sharing them with the MC for issuance of challans....
