Chandigarh, Nov. 11 -- Krishanu Sharda, the middleman in the alleged bribery case involving Ropar Range DIG (now suspended) Harcharan Singh Bhullar, was produced in court on Monday and sent to judicial custody. Krishanu was seen limping while walking, prompting his lawyer to request a medical examination in court. Meanwhile, Bhullar's five-day police remand in the disproportionate assets case ended on Monday and he will be produced in court on Tuesday. The CBI has collected substantial evidence from both parties, sources said. Bhullar was arrested on October 16 in a Rs.5 lakh corruption case. A search of his residence had led to the recovery of a large quantity of cash and gold, prompting the CBI and Punjab vigilance bureau to book him in a disproportionate assets case.HTC...
