Sukhna Lake hit by culling drive amid bird flu scare
India, April 19 -- In December 2014, 35 geese and ducks died in a fortnight at Sukhna Lake. After one of the six samples tested positive for avian flu, the UT administration began culling 200-odd geese and ducks at the lake on the central government's orders.
