Panchkula, Dec. 17 -- Class 3 students of St Soldier's School, Panchkula, had the unique opportunity to visit the India International Science Festival (IISF) 2025, organised by the Union Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The festival was held from December 6 to 9 at the Dussehra Ground, Sector 5, Panchkula, marking the first time this prestigious event was hosted in North India. The young learners learnt through the hands-on experiences that deepened their curiosity about science and the environment. Through engaging demonstrations, the students gained knowledge on various issues such as - melting glaciers and the urgent need to address climate change, pollution and its impact on Earth's ecosystems, Geology and the fascinating processes that shape our planet, underwater mining and its role in resource exploration. The visit proved to be both educational and inspiring, sparking scientific temper and environmental awareness among the children....
