Sangrur, March 25 -- The protest at Mastuana Sahib bus stand, started around two years ago, was called off on Monday after an assurance from the Sangrur deputy commissioner. Protesters said they will vacate the site by April 1. They had been pressing for work to start on a medical college and hospital, the foundation stone for which was laid by CM Bhagwant Mann in 2022 at Changal village, almost 3 km from Mastuana Sahib.
