Amritsar, July 29 -- An investiture ceremony was organised at Stalwarts World School. The ceremony was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the chief guest DSP Shriman Dharmendra Kalyan and social reformer Shriman Arvinder Bhatti. In his inspirational speech, he emphasised the importance of education and called the students the future builders of the nation. In this ceremony, the old council members duly handed over their responsibilities and positions to the new council members. This ceremony is a dignified tradition of leadership change of the school, in which the students are imbued with the spirit of leadership, responsibility and cooperation. Principal of the school Manish Dhanuka said that the student council is formed not only to obtain a post but also to set an example of leadership and to encourage the spirit of discipline, service and dedication in the school. On this occasion, the old council members, while wishing the new members, explained the importance of their posts through symbolic words and handed over responsibilities to them. The head boy and head girl inspired the new representatives by sharing their experiences. They told that this occasion is not only of respect but also of loyalty and responsibility towards the school.
