Stalwarts World School celebrates Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev
Amritsar, Nov. 7 -- At Stalwarts World School, the Prakash Utsav of the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak, was celebrated. This sacred occasion served as an inspiration for students to embrace spirituality, the spirit of service, and the path of truth.
The school campus was beautifully decorated with flowers, creating a serene and blissful atmosphere. A "Japji Sahib Paath" was conducted in the school premises, in which all students, teachers, and staff members participated with deep faith and devotion. The recitation of Japji Sahib filled the entire school with peace, devotion, and positivity.
After the Paath, the children presented Shabad Kirtan based on the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The students pledged to follow Guru's teachings - "Naam Japo, Kirat Karo, Vand Chhako" - in their lives.
The principal Manisha Dhanuka, delivered an inspiring address on the relevance of Guru Nanak's teachings such as truth, equality, compassion, and selfless service. She emphasised that the messages given by Guru Ji for the welfare of humanity hold the same significance even today.
At the end of the paath, Granthiji blessed the children and the school for progress and success. The programme concluded with a langar, in which all students and teachers collectively partook of the prasad, strengthening the spirit of brotherhood and equality.
