Chandigarh, Aug. 7 -- St Xavier`s Senior School, Chandigarh organised 'Xavarian Mashup' an inter-school competition. The mega event began with participation from 16 teams across the tricity. The competition was designed for students of Class 10 and 11 to foster their innovative thinking, teamwork and communication skills. The participants projected their persuasive skills to advertise their product or services of their choice. St Xavier`s Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, took first position in the competition with a team composed of Manjot Kaur, Sia Kinger and Kritika Sharma. St Mary`s School, Chandigarh, stood at second position with a team of Utkash Thakur, Hashit Dhiman and Prabhat Bhushan. St Xavier`s High School, Panchkula, came in third position with a team of Mannat, Arshpreet Kaur and Jasleen Kaur. The Patriots-aimed to promote the feeling of love, national pride, awareness and value, devotion, and a sense of attachment to one's country or state and showcasing their knowledge of national heritage for students of Class 8. Ganitagya - An exciting inter-school mathematics quiz competition designed to challenge and celebrate young minds. It encourages logical thinking, problem solving and team work through fun-filled activities like puzzles, relays and number games with the aim to make mathematics enjoyable and interactive for the students of Class 6 and 7. The team-Adhiraj and Ishansh Goyal of St Xavier`s Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, came in first position.
