St Soldier's School kindergarten kids celebrate Dussehra festival
Panchkula, Oct. 7 -- The kindergarten section of St Soldier's School, Sector 16, celebrated the festival of Dussehra with great enthusiasm and festive spirit. The celebration was aimed at introducing young learners to the rich cultural heritage and moral values associated with the festival.
The highlight of the event was the symbolic burning of a Ravana effigy, representing the triumph of good over evil. The children watched in awe as the effigy went up in flames, helping them understand the deeper message behind the celebration.
The day was filled with fun and educational activities. Children participated in colouring activities themed around Dussehra, including drawings of Lord Ram, Ravana and festive scenes. Teachers and students sang traditional songs and rhymes, adding to the festive cheer and creating a joyful atmosphere throughout the school. All students were given special takeaways to carry home, including festive goodies and handmade crafts, reminding them of the values of courage, truth, and kindness....
