St Soldier's School hosts its flagship inter-school techfest-'Technova 2.0'
Panchkula, May 26 -- St Soldier's School hosted its flagship inter-school techfest, Technova 2.0, on May 20-21, drawing participation from 14 schools and 24 teams. The event was organised in collaboration with STEMOrbit.
The two-day fest kicked off with an opening ceremony, where school manager Neera Singh launched a drone carrying the Technova flag-a symbol of innovation taking flight. The event featured four categories: smart and sustainable cities, disaster resilience, assistive technology, and open innovation.
Day one saw students transforming ideas into reality through hands-on prototypes, while Day two brought expert evaluation by Rajneesh Talwar, dean DICE-Chitkara University and Shilpa Jindal, assistant professor at CCET.
First prize went to Pinegrove School, Dharampur, with cash prize of Rs.5000. Second position was bagged by Air Force School, 3BRD, who won Rs.2500. Third position went to St Soldier's School, Panchkula with cash prize Rs.1500. Winners were awarded trophies, certificates, and cash prizes....
