St Soldier Convent School marks Grandparents' Day
Mohali, Oct. 24 -- St Soldier International Convent School celebrated Grandparents' Day with great warmth and enthusiasm, under the theme "Roots and Wings." The event was attended by VK Maini, pulmonologist of the tricity, and Jasjit K Jaggi, director principal of Silver Wings Universal School, as the chief guests.
The celebration began with the chairman S Karandeep Singh Brar welcoming the chief guests and a heartfelt address by the school principal Anjli Sharma, who expressed gratitude to the grandparents for their invaluable role in nurturing family values and traditions. Students from the Playgroup, Kindergarten, and Classes 1 and 2 presented a delightful cultural programme that left the audience spellbound. The performances included a welcome song by Class 2-A, a dance by the Playgroup, a Medley by Nursery, and Dance, Song, Fashion Show, and Poem Recitation numbers by the tiny tots of LKG and UKG. The energy continued with Ball Dance, Aerobics, and an exuberant Bhangra that set the stage alive.
The proud grandparents and parents beamed with joy as they watched their little ones perform with confidence and cheer, making the day truly memorable. The event beautifully captured the essence of love across generations....
