Mohali, Dec. 12 -- The annual prize distribution and cultural fest "Rise and Shine" was celebrated at St Paul's International School (Cambridge), Sector 56. The entire campus sparkled with joy as students showcased their remarkable talents. The presence of actor and member of Parliament Raj Babbar as the chief guest added a special radiance, lending the event an inspiring and distinguished aura. The ceremony began with a warm welcome extended to Raj Babbar by the school's chairman Rajesh Rudhra, president of the Trust Dr Shabad Rudhra, Usha Rudhra, director Vijayata Rudhra, and director Anamika. One of the highlights of the evening was the thought-provoking play "This World is Thankless." Through this production, students powerfully conveyed messages about valuing time, the importance of good upbringing, and the nature of selfishness in society. The celebrations also featured a spectrum of vibrant cultural performances. From the energetic welcome dance to the retro segment, from Haryanvi and Gujarati folk to Rajasthani rhythms and the spirited Punjabi Luddi and Bhangra, students brought the stage alive-leaving parents smiling, applauding, and deeply moved. Chairman Rajesh Rudhra congratulated the students for their performances and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the teachers.
