Chandigarh, Nov. 28 -- St Joseph's Sr Sec School, Sector 44-D, celebrated 150 glorious years of the National Song "Vande Mataram." The event was organised in accordance with the directive issued by the District Education Officer, UT Chandigarh, under the nationwide initiative of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. At 10.00 am, the entire school connected virtually to witness the formal inauguration by the Prime Minister of India, marking the commencement of this historic year-long commemoration. A special assembly was also conducted in the school premises to mark the occasion.
