St Anne's Convent students mark Int'l Girl Child Day
Chandigarh, Oct. 14 -- Girl India Project in St Anne's Convent School organised an impressive rally which was lead by Sr Shiny. The international Girl Child Day is celebrated every year on October 11 to recognise girls' rights and the unique challenges they face around the world. The day highlights the importance of education, health, and equality for every girl and encourages communities to create opportunities for their growth and empowerment. The participants in the rally emphasised the need to provide girls with equal chances to lead, learn, succeed and promote gender equality and support girls in achieving their dreams. Sr Shiny addressed the participants that when we educate a girl, we empower a nation. Every girl deserves respect, opportunities, and the freedom to shine....
