Chandigarh, May 19 -- Sri Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Sector 35-B, announced the achievements of its students in the Khelo India Youth Games 2025 held at IIM Bodh Gaya, Bihar, from May 5 to 7, 2025. Bhupinderjit Singh of Class 12 (arts) won the gold medal in the Fari-Soti Individual boys category, while Jashandeep Kaur of Class 11 (arts) secured the silver medal in the Fari-Soti Individual girls category. Daljit Kaur of Class 10 participated in the Fari-Soti team girls event, contributing to the school's strong representation in traditional martial arts. Principal Pritinder Kaur congratulated the students on their outstanding performance and reaffirmed the school's dedication to nurturing young talent and promoting heritage sports like Gatka. Khelo India Youth Games are the annual national level multidisciplinary grassroot games in India. The 7th edition of the Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) were held for the first time in Bihar.
