Mohali, Oct. 29 -- The CBSE led capacity building programme on "Storytelling as a Pedagogy" was successfully hosted by Skonis World School, Kharar, on October 25. The session was conducted by esteemed resource persons - Rajesh Kumar Bansal, principal, Century Public School, Naya Gaon, and Sangeeta Sood, vice-principal, DPS Chappar Chiri. The programme aimed to enhance teachers' understanding of storytelling as an effective pedagogical tool to make classroom learning more engaging, creative, and impactful. The resource persons conducted the sessions with great expertise, integrating interactive discussions, activities, and demonstrations that highlighted how stories can be used to foster imagination and comprehension among learners across different grades. Teachers from various schools across the tricity participated enthusiastically. The participants appreciated the practical insights and innovative strategies shared during the workshop. The overall feedback was highly positive, with teachers expressing motivation to incorporate storytelling techniques into their daily classroom practices. The CBP concluded successfully with an interactive reflection session and various activities.
