Chandigarh, Feb. 19 -- The skill development committee of MCM DAV College for Women on Monday began a certificate course in food and nutrition here to develop entrepreneurial skills of women in health and nutrition management. The course covers 23 intensive sessions that include 12 knowledge sessions and 11 hands-on training sessions. The programme was inaugurated by nutrition coach Pancham Prashar. HR Gandhar, senior governing body member of the DAV College managing committee was the chief guest on the occasion. Gandhar said the key to good health lies in the experiential knowledge of our ancestors that travels through generations. Prashar said poor diet is the main cause of modern diseases.
