BENGALURU, April 20 -- Six people, including three minors, died after being swept away by strong currents in the Cauvery River in Karnataka's Mysuru district on Sunday, police said. According to police, the victims were part of an eight-member group that had travelled to a nearby dargah for Hazrat Khadar Lingavalli Urs. The group later went to the river near Arkeshwara temple in KR Nagar taluk, where all eight entered the water and were caught in the current. The chief minister has announced an ex-gratia of Rs.5 lakh each for the kin of victims....
