Shooters likely missed intended target: Cops
Mohali, Nov. 9 -- Probing the late-night firing outside a Phase-7 house on Thursday, police have found prima facie evidence indicating that the two bike-borne shooters, who fired over 30 rounds, may have missed their target.
CCTV footage reviewed by investigators shows the masked assailants arriving on a motorcycle around 12.25 am, loading their firearms, and firing repeatedly in the direction of the house, before discharging additional rounds in other directions.
Police arrived within minutes, recovered 26 empty shells and two cartridge casings from the scene, apart from three pieces of paper with gangster Kala Rana's name written on them.
