Shivalik School celebrates annual day with splendour
Chandigarh, Oct. 14 -- Shivalik Public School, Sector 41, Chandigarh, celebrated its annual day with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrance at its Phase 6, Mohali branch. The event began with the school shabad followed by the lighting of the lamp, symbolising knowledge and enlightenment. The divine Ganesh Vandana, an ode to Lord Ganesha, set a spiritual tone for the evening.
Vice-principal Sonia Gulia presented the annual report, highlighting the school's academic and co-curricular achievements. The cultural programme showcased India's rich diversity through a series of captivating performances - from Kannada Hoysala Nritya and Kumaoni Pahadi Nritya to Haryanvi Beats and Rajasthani Nritya. The rhythmic Nachda Punjab added colour and energy to the show.
The school choir also enthralled the audience with inspirational English and Hindi songs. The grand finale, titled "Choreographing Oneness, Celebrating Diversity", beautifully conveyed the message of unity in diversity.
The programme was concluded by prize distribution, which recognised students' excellence in academics and activities. The event's success was credited to all the dedicated team of teachers and staff....
