Shimla, Dec. 23 -- The Himachal Pradesh government suspended a 31-year-old doctor on Monday, hours after a video showing him purportedly assaulting a patient was widely circulated on social media platforms, an official aware of the matter said. According to people aware of the matter, the incident took place in Indira Gandhi Medical college (IGMC) and hospital in Shimla. The video showed Dr Raghav Narula, a senior resident in Pulmonary Medicine, punching the patient, Arjun Pawar (36), who was lying on the bed, in the face.
