Mohali, Jan. 28 -- Shemrock Senior Secondary School celebrated the 76th Republic Day with the spirit of patriotism. The institute wished everyone, hoping for the nation's continued prosperity and growth. The campus was adorned with tricolour balloons and flags. The students were dressed up in traditional attires. The event began with the ceremonial national flag unfurling by Shemrock and Oakfield Group of Schools chairman Amarjit Singh Bajwa, escorted by the head boy Harsimar Singh and NCC cadets. This was followed by the choir's national anthem's rendition. The principal greeted the students and parents, which was broadcast live on the school's YouTube channel. On behalf of the students, head girl Anvita Upadhyay delivered a speech, emphasising the day's significance. A cultural extravaganza, planned under the faculty's guidance, was held in the auditorium. The programme featured poems, musical renditions, and dances. A play depicting the Constitution's making offered students a glimpse into our leaders' efforts.
