Mohali, Dec. 10 -- Shemrock Senior Secondary School hosted a musical inter-school band competition under the banner 'Melodiosa Season X'. Emerging artists from 14 renowned schools across the Tri-city participated and showcased their musical talent. The event was graced by the presence of AS Bajwa, chairman of Shemrock and Oakfields Group of Schools, and managing director Karan Bajwa. Renowned playback singer Chayanika Garg and acclaimed artist Bakhshish served as jury members to judge the competition. School principal, Prineet Sohal, encouraged the young artists with her motivational words. School's managing director, Karan Bajwa, said, "Melodiosa Season X is a wonderful platform that offers students an opportunity to express their musical creativity and interact with talented artists from other schools. We always encourage such events that contribute to the overall development of students in addition to the academic curriculum." School principal Prineet Sohal, stated, "I was delighted to witness the talent and passion of these young musicians. They delivered exceptional performances. Such competitions are essential for fostering teamwork and confidence among students on stage." In the Team Prizes category, Yadvindra Public School, Mohali, was the winner, while Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Mohali, was the first runner-up, and Saint Kabir Public School, Chandigarh, was the second runner-up. Saupins School, Chandigarh, received the Consolation prize. In the Individual Prizes, Raavya Kaur (Kundan International School), Mishti Garg (Yadvindra Public School), Kanish (Saupins School), and Arush Uppal (Saint Kabir Public School) won the 'Finest Vocalist' title.
