Chandigarh, Dec. 12 -- The Punjab government on Thursday issued transfer and posting orders of seven IAS officers and one PCS officer with immediate effect. Tejveer Singh, additional chief secretary (ACS), local government, was posted as ACS, technical education and industrial training. Manvesh Singh Sidhu, administrative secretary, labour, and in addition secretary, revenue and rehabilitation, was given the additional charge of commissioner, Rupnagar diivision, relieving Gurpreet Kaur Sapra of the additional charge. Arun Sekhri, commissioner, Ferozepur division, also holding additional charge of Jalandhar division commissioner, was posted as commissioner, Ferozepur division, and in addition Faridkot division commissioner. Sekhri replaced Manjit Singh Brar, who was posted as administrative secretary, local government. Ramvir, secretary, PSAMB, and in addition administrative secretary, information and public relations, was given the additional charge of commissioner, Jalandhar division. Rubinderjit Singh Brar, additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, was given the additional charge of administrative secretary, NRI affairs. Sonam, posted at the department of excise and taxation, was given the additional charge of joint commissioner, Patiala municipal corporation. PCS officier Jagdeep Saigal, joint secretary, local government, was posted as additional managing director, Punjab Small Industries Export Corporation (PSIEC), in addition....
