Chandigarh, Dec. 26 -- On the seventh day of Seven Days NSS Special Camp was organised at PML SD Public School, Sector 32-C. Traffic awareness programme was conducted by Traffic Police, Chandigarh. Bhupinder Singh, sub-inspector and Jagroop Singh, Head Constable and Rahul, Constable addressed to the NSS volunteers about traffic rules. The session was made interactive with songs on traffic rules and were shown videos/presentations. The traffic officials were told to about precaution drives and emergency measures to be taken while being on road. A short quiz was conducted on traffic sign boards. Then the volunteers were told to take a pledge to obey traffic rules. Closing ceremony was held to appreciate the candidates. Trophies were given to active social workers. The camp was held on the supervision of Monica Sharma, principal and Jayant Kumar Atreya & VS Pathania, NSS Programme Officer, Students Incharges. NSS volunteers took the pledge to keep giving their best in social welfare. Delicious lunch was served to the NSS volunteers to end the camp....
