The student was attacked near Sector 38 West, where an intoxicated Monu struck her with a heavy stone, dragged her into the bushes, and sexually assaulted her before fleeing with her phone. In August 2023, based on secret intelligence, police obtained a blood sample from Monu and sent it for forensic testing. The CFSL report in April 2024 confirmed the DNA match, leading to his arrest in May 2024. During interrogation, Monu confessed to both murders and admitted to a third rape-murder in February 2024 in Sector 54, where he attacked and assaulted a mentally disabled woman before robbing her. Monu, now in judicial custody, faces murder and rape charges with more than 60 witnesses listed in the chargesheet....
