Seminar on career avenues in legal studies at St Xavier's School
Chandigarh, Oct. 7 -- A seminar on career avenues in legal studies was organised at St Xavier's Senior Secondary School. Surabhi was the resource person from CLAT POSSIBLE.
She also spoke about the minimum qualification to join law studies in school, colleges, universities in India and abroad, its curriculum which certainly will guide students towards careers aligning with their interest, clear their doubts and understand admission process etc. She also discussed various institutions offering education in law in India and abroad.
Surbhi`s main focus was career in law in Indian and abroad "There are vast an exciting option available in law. In India you may practice law in Indian courts. You may offer specialised legal advice to businesses or individuals. You may aspire to become a judge in Indian judicial services. Work in outsourcing legal tasks like research, document drafting, and contract review. As a specialist in Cyber Laws, and digital rights, Intellectual Property Law: Focus on patents, trademarks, copyrights, and IP litigation," said Surbhi.
She also touched upon the various avenues available abroad after taking a law degree from Indian under some reciprocal arrangement with various countries.
