India, Dec. 12 -- W inter's here and restaurants are rolling out menus designed for cosy nights, festive cravings and laughter-filled dinners. Think rich, slow-braised mains, spiced desserts and warm, comforting sips: flavours created for chilly Christmas evenings and the company that makes them special. At Mumbai's Le Cafe, Christmas arrives with a winter menu shaped around European flavours. Founder Ashesh Sajnani says, "Highlights include the Truffle Mushroom Cappuccino, an aromatic and velvety blend of mushrooms and the Spiced Chicken Roulade, a tender chicken rolled with seasonal herbs and enriched with a deep jus. Then there's Ratatouille Crepes, slow-cooked vegetables in soft savoury crepes, inspired by rustic European winter kitchens." CinCin in Mumbai brings an Italian twist to the season with a festive menu named A Tavola! inspired by Italy's cherished tradition of gathering around the table to share food, linger over conversations and celebrate togetherness. Chef Dayamani Singh explains, "It begins with dishes designed to be placed at the centre of the table and enjoyed together, like Cavoletti di Bruxelles, charred Brussels sprouts over smoky roasted red pepper sauce; and Zucca al Forno, butternut pumpkin roasted in the Lombardy style with blue cheese, walnuts and smoked chilli oil. The pizzas and pastas continue this celebration of sharing." If you love sampling as many flavours as possible, small plates are your best bet. Akarshan Brar Gill, co-founder of The Sip Society, says, "We have the Chilli & Pistachio Burrata with lavash chips and our signature charcuterie board. Each dish has been crafted to feel comforting yet exciting, something you'd want to share over long conversations, mulled drinks and festive celebrations. It's our way of making Christmas dining feel warm, memorable, and just a little indulgent." No winter menu is complete without drinks that complement the mains. Chef Ashish Singh of Cafe Delhi Heights says, "Our winter drink selection features a classic Hot Toddy, a bright and refreshing Cranberry Punch, and the decadent Chocolate Bomb. " Because Christmas simply isn't Christmas without something sweet! Parvana Mistry, Operations Director at Parsi Dairy Farm, which has outlets across cities including Mumbai, Pune and Gujarat, says, "Our White Chocolate Strawberry Kaju Katli adds a modern sparkle to a timeless favourite, while our Hot Chocolate and Chocolate Walnut Fudge are pure indulgence to bring cosy winter warmth. The Christmas Cupcake adds a playful festive touch, reminding us that the holidays are as much about joy as they are about heritage."...
