JAMMU, Oct. 12 -- Following reports of sightings of suspected Pakistani drones along the Indo-Pak international border in Samba district, security forces launched searches in two forward villages on Saturday, said officials. The drones were sighted over Challiyari village in Ghagwal area and Chamliyal village in Ramgarh late Friday night. "Following inputs by the locals, the Border Security Force (BSF) along with border police immediately launched searches close to the border to see if the drones had air-dropped weapons or narcotics," said a senior police officer. He further said that amid festive season, the security forces have upped their surveillance along the borders. "SOG teams are regularly carrying out searches based on information and our border posts are ready for challenges, be it drones or others," he said....
