Chandigarh, May 9 -- Punjab education minister Harjot Bains announced on Thursday that all educational institutions in the state will remain closed for the next three days. "In view of the evolving situation, it has been decided to shut all schools, colleges and universities in Punjab for the next three days," Bains wrote on X. Additionally, the controller of examinations at Panjab University, Chandigarh, announced that exams scheduled for May 9, 10, and 12, 2025, have been postponed. New dates will be announced later.
