Amritsar, Oct. 13 -- The Supreme Court has granted bail to accused Bikramjit Singh in case of grenade attack launched on Nirankari Bhawan at Rajasansi in Amritsar district in 2018, in which three people were killed and 16 others were injured, setting aside the Punjab and Haryana high court judgment that had rejected the bail plea.

On November 18, 2018, two motorcycle-borne men had lobbed a grenade on a religious congregation inside the Nirankari Bhawan.

Hailing from Dhariwal village, Bikramjit, along with Avtar Singh of Chak Misri Khan village, was arrested for allegedly throwing the grenade.
