Chandigarh, Dec. 17 -- The Supreme Court collegium on Tuesday approved the names of two judicial officers for appointment as judges of the Punjab and Haryana high court. The collegium headed by Chief Justice Surya Kant in a meeting cleared the names of Ramesh Chander Dimri, and Neerja Kulwant Kalson, both from Haryana Judicial Services as judges of the high court. Once cleared by the Centre, the number of judges at high court would be 61 against the sanctioned strength of 85 judges. HTC...
