Chandigarh, April 29 -- Saupin's School, Sector 32 held an investiture ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly appointed student council for the academic year 2025-2026. The investiture ceremony serves as a platform to nurture leadership skills in students, empowering them to become responsible citizens and future leaders. The newly elected student council members were bestowed with badges, symbolising their designation and responsibilities. The head boy and head girl for this session are Uday Sharma and Kaushal and the sports captains are Japman Kaur and Swarit Mahajan. Principal Surita Sharma administered the oath to the council members. They pledged to carry out their duties with sincerity and integrity and promised to serve the school and their fellow students. New leaders were vested with new responsibilities and powers for the school during the ceremony. Investiture is one of the opportunities provided to the students to engage in various school activities, and to encourage others too to participate in extra curriculars. On this occasion, scholarships worth Rs.2.70 lakh were also awarded to academic and sports achievers for the year 2024-2025.
