Mohali, Feb. 19 -- Saupin's School celebrated its annual show for Classes 6-8 on February 7, turning the day into a joyful explosion of fun, talent and social-awareness. The audience was left spell-bound with an array of both entertaining and meaningful performances.
The spotlight shone on a gripping English crime-thriller, a clever stage adaptation of a radio play that kept everyone on the edge of their seats. Adding humour with a strong message was a Punjabi play, a witty portrayal of the 'all-too-familiar' delays in government file work. The energy rose further with a power-packed Hindi nukkad-natak, delivering an important message on digital safety.
The cultural segment featured energetic western dances, a hilarious stand-up, and fun performances on nostalgic retro songs and old advertisements. Message based poems in English, Hindi, and Punjabi added depth and meaning to the programme. The evening concluded with an electrifying bhangra performance that had theaudience cheering. The headmistress, Goldie Kapany lauded the students fortheir creativity, encouraging them to continue exploring their talents and shine in alltheir future endeavours....
