Salman, Vamshi's film goes on floors in Mumbai; Nayanthara joins as leading lady
India, April 20 -- The much anticipated collaboration between actor Salman Khan and filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally has moved to production. The film is now going on floors in Mumbai.
The big-budget project, tentatively titled #SVC63 was recently launched with a traditional muhurtham ceremony in the city, with pictures surfacing on social media.
The film also brings in Nayanthara as the leading lady, marking her first on-screen pairing with Salman.
According to reports, the team has begun a month-long schedule in Mumbai, shooting on an expansive, specially constructed set. Key portions of the film, including high-energy action sequences, are currently being filmed as the makers begin principal photography. The film is described as a large-scale action drama with emotional elements, a space Paidipally has explored in films such as Maharshi. While details of the supporting cast and technical crew remain under wraps, the makers are expected to announce further updates in the coming weeks.
