Saint Soldier International School celebrates investiture ceremony
Chandigarh, May 7 -- Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28 B, celebrated its prestigious investiture ceremony for the academic session 2025-26 with great enthusiasm and dignity. The event, attended by the school advisor Vijaya Sidhu, principal Anisha Ghuman and the parents, began with a warm welcome and presentation of bouquets to the dignitaries. This was followed by the auspicious lighting of the lamp and 'shlokas' by the school choir.
The ceremony commenced with the advisor presenting the badge to head boy Levish Jaglan and head girl Kumari Riya Raj. The principal conferred the honours upon sports head boy Mayank Sethi and sports head girl Baani Tarar. The school prefects, Gurjot Singh, Ishnoor Kaur, Harshpreet Kaur, and Abhinav Rana were ceremoniously presented with their badges by the coordinators. The ceremony then moved on to the house wardens pinningthe badges on the appointed members of their respective houses. From Aravalli House, Sania assumed the role of house captain, supported by vice captain Arnav and prefects Brahmapreet and Ishvir. Nilgiri House saw the appointment of Tavleen as house captain, Abhinav Dubey as vice captain, and Nikunj and Likhit as prefects. Shiwalik House was led by Jashanpreet Singh as house captain, Aanchal as vice captain, and Madhav and Chhavi as prefects. Meanwhile, Himalaya House welcomed Naveen and Aaditi Tiwari as house and vice captain, with Nawang and Suryanshi serving as prefects.
The school principal administered the oath of duty, as the newly appointed council members pledged to carry out their responsibilities with dedication and integrity. The highlight of the event was the march past by the newly elected student council, showcasing confidence and commitment as they marched with pride and unity.
In a heartwarming gesture, the tiny tots of Nursery class presented bouquets to the council members.The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem....
