Saffron City School organises Sahodaya debate competition
Fatehgarh Sahib, Nov. 5 -- Saffron City School proudly hosted the Sahodaya Inter-School English Debate Competition, bringing together 11 reputed schools from the region for a stimulating exchange of ideas and perspectives.
The event featured two categories - Secondary (Classes 8-10) and Senior Secondary (Classes 11-12) - each engaging participants in thought-provoking topics.
For the Senior Secondary Category, the topic was "There should be limits put to artistic freedom." Participants impressed the judges with their eloquence, logic, and confidence. Saffron City School secured the first position, followed by Garden Valley International School, Bassi Pathana in the second place, and Gobindgarh Public School in the third position.
In the Secondary Category, students debated on the topic "India is the next superpower." It was a fierce and insightful contest, where Bharatam International School clinched the first position, Saffron City School bagged the second, and Jesus Saviour School earned the third position.
