fatehgarh Sahib, Dec. 10 -- Saffron City School organised its Annual Athletic Meet. The event commenced with an impressive March Past, showcasing discipline and coordination. Among the juniors, Class 3 clinched the first position, while Class 5 secured the second. In the senior segment, Class 8 earned the first position and Class 12 stood second. Students captivated the audience with a vibrant display of drills, including pom-pom, dumbbell, ribbon, and an energetic Zumba performance. The athletic events featured a wide range of races - from sprints and relays for seniors to fun-filled activities for juniors such as the bag pack race, frog race, sack race, three-legged race, and lemon-spoon race. Field events like discus throw, shot put, and long jump added to the competitive spirit of the day. The most thrilling moment came during the Tug of War between Class 11 and Class 12 boys, drawing loud cheers from spectators.
