Chandigarh, Nov. 11 -- The grounds of Sacred Heart School, came alive with energy, excitement, and vibrant displays of athleticism as the Primary wing celebrated its much-awaited Sports Day 2025 and Jour de Gloire. The event highlighted the school's commitment to holistic education - fostering not just academic excellence but also physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students. The day began with the lighting of the ceremonial torch and a march past by the students, representing their respective houses with pride and discipline. The event was graced by the chief guest Chestha Sachdeva who commended the students for their spirited participation and emphasised the importance of sports in shaping character and resilience. An alumni of the school, she reminisced about her student life and how the school played a vital role in shaping her future. A colourful array of drills and competitive athletic events enthralled the audience. The parents applauded and encouraged the participants. At the award ceremony, trophies and medals were presented to outstanding athletes and houses. The overall championship trophy was awarded to St Joseph's House with St Clare's as runner-up.
