Chandigarh, Feb. 4 -- Rajya Sabha member Satnam Singh Sandhu on Tuesday urged the Union government to establish a regional center of Tribhuvan Sahkari University - India's first cooperative university - to strengthen Punjab's cooperative sector through innovation. Raising the issue during a special mention in the Upper House , Sandhu said Punjab's cooperative sector forms the backbone of the state's rural economy.
