Rohtak, Nov. 24 -- A 68-year-old man died after he was struck on the head with an iron rod by his grandson at Rohtak's Ismaila village on Sunday, police said. Police have launched a manhunt for the accused, Kapil, who fled after the incident. According to police officials, the victim, Satbir Singh, had gone to his fields to serve tea to labourers harvesting his paddy crop. His grandson Kapil was already present there. "Kapil started arguing with his grandfather over a portion of 30 square yard land, leading to heated arguments. Angered, Kapil picked up an iron rod and hit his grandfather, who collapsed and died. Labourers informed the family over phone," said Sampla police station house officer (SHO) Bijender Singh. A team from the forensic science laboratory reached the spot and collected evidence. The victim's body was sent to Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) for autopsy. Kapil was booked for murder under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita....
