kharar, May 29 -- Rayat Bahra International School organised an industrial visit to the Verka Plant in Mohali's Phase 6. Students of Classes 9 and 10 explored the plant's operations, gaining practical knowledge about the collection of cow and buffalo milk (BMC), Sampling of milk, holding tanks called silos each having a capacity of 60,000 litres, processing of milk, curd, butter and ghee. Students were excited to see how milk and other dairy products are processed. On reaching the plant, they were welcomed by the staff and given safety gear. A guide explained the entire process-from the collection of milk to pasteurisation, packaging, and students observed huge machines working efficiently in hygienic conditions everywhere. After the tour, students enjoyed some soothing Verka drinks. The objective of the visit was to provide practical knowledge about milk processing and dairy products and their manufacturing. Understanding of quality control and hygiene importance, connecting theoretical concepts to real-world applications. It was truly a memorable and educational experience....
