Mohali, Dec. 2 -- R Rudra International School, Aerocity, celebrated its second annual prize distribution function and the grant of affiliation by CBSE, New Delhi with great pomp and splendour. The chief guest for the evening was Sardar Amardeep Singh Rai, IPS, DGP (Special), Punjab, while Ginni Duggal, district education officer, Mohali, graced the occasion as the guest of honour. Rajesh Rudhra, chairman; Shabad Rudhra, President; Usha Rudhra; Vijayata Rudhra; principal Mona Singh, along with principals Baldeep Pandher, Vinita Sanan, Jyoti Pujara, and Ritu Malhotra, accompanied by Sandeep Kakkar, director Ram Global School; Samita Kakkar, director; Shivangi Bir, principal; and Anamika, accorded a warm and cordial welcome to the guests. The evening commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a soulful and devotional Shabad Gayan. Students then presented the Annual Report. In her address principal Mona Singh said that R Rudra International School is built on the belief that every child carries limitless potential and it is the mission of the school to empower students to dream fearlessly, learn passionately, and rise with integrity. The students also presented an English play 'Hansel & Gretel' along with many other well choreographed dances. The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour both felicitated students with prizes. In his address, DGP Amardeep Singh Rai applauded Rajesh Rudhra for establishing a premium educational institution in Mohali.
