R-Day celebration at Satluj Public School
Panchkula, Jan. 28 -- The 76th Republic Day was celebrated at Satluj Public School, Sector 4. The day began with tricolour hosting by co-chairman/director-principal Krit Serai, managing director of Satluj Group of Schools Reekrit Serai, co-principal Madhurima Serai, and Radhika Panickar Serai, accompanied by the choir's rendition of the national anthem. The special assembly featured speeches on our nation's journey, patriotic songs, andan enactment of the freedom struggle. To add to the festivities, a series of events were held, including art competitions - creative posters and rangoli celebrated "India of my dreams" and "Unity in diversity"; poetry and essays - the students expressed their love for India and the Constitution's significance; and speech, singing, and quiz contests - a showcase of knowledge and talent. The winners were honoured with certificates for their contributions in the felicitation ceremony. Reekrit Serai said, "The occasion reminds us of our responsibility to uphold the values of justice, liberty, and equality. We aim to instil these ideals in students, preparing them to lead our nation to greatness." He also praised the students' efforts, stating, "From the performances, they have once again proven that they are not only academically brilliant but also connected to our nation's ethos." Satluj Girls' Parade Contingent was specially appreciated for its synchronised and disciplined marching, reflecting its hard work and the spirit of teamwork. The celebration paid homage to the republic's ideals. Together, everyone pledged to uphold the values enshrined in our Constitution and strive for a brighter and stronger India....
