BATHINDA, Aug. 28 -- Industry minister Sanjeev Arora on Wednesday announced the Punjab government would establish exhibition-cum-convention centres in Mohali, Ludhiana and Amritsar to boost trade. Addressing industrialists at the 'Rising Punjab - suggestions to solutions' event in Bathinda, he said the Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation has earmarked Rs.100 crore for infrastructure upgrades in focal points, with tenders worth Rs.70 crore already issued.
