Punjab to add 44 more sewa kendras, says Aman Arora
Chandigarh, July 17 -- The Punjab government will add 44 more sewa kendras across the state, cabinet minister Aman Arora said. The plan includes constructing 16 new kendras and reopening 28 previously closed ones. Additionally, counters will be increased at six existing kendras.
Around Rs.4.10 crore will be spent on construction and Rs.1.54 crore on reopening, the minister said.
He has also directed officials to improve infrastructure, including air conditioning and seating at the kendras.
The move aims to boost public convenience and reduce overcrowding, enhancing access to over 500 government services....
