Punjab State Karate Championship at Mount International School
Ludhiana, May 29 -- The Punjab State Karate Championship took place at Mount International School in Ludhiana. This two-day event, acknowledged by the World Karate Federation (WKF) and the Asian Karate Federation (AKF), was orchestrated by the Punjab Sports Karate Organisation. Nearly 500 students hailing from 23 districts across Punjab participated in this karate competition. Under the mentorship of coach Bahadur Singh, the students delivered an impressive performance.
They brought honours to the school by securing multiple medals in the Punjab State Karate Games. In the sub-junior category, Yahna Garg, Jaskaran Singh, and Amarangel Kaur clinched medals, while Harsimrat Kaur earned a silver medal in the cadet category, and Vanshraj Kaushal achieved a bronze medal.
Daljit Kaur Bhangoo, the principal of the school, welcomed the karate competitors from across Punjab and encouraged them to uphold the values of the sport. Additionally, Vishal Garg, the chairman of the school, expressed gratitude to the students and their coaches for joining the event....
